Looking at the new flagship store by Restoration Hardware. At the old Abercrombie & Fitch ”palace”.

Everything is grand and luxurious. No price tags. Nothing is stacked. Everything is ”champagne”.

But HOW can they miss details. It is soooooooo bad. Super ugly sockets everywhere. For god’s sake - hide them. Air vent is clearly visible. Ugly lighting that should have been hidden.

It all feels so shallow. This is an attempt to be luxury - but it all feels cheap.

Zero points.

Back at Maison&Objet. Best find of the day, so far. Cookut makes aprons that doubles as art. I just thought it was clever. When you don’t use it - hang it.

Soft , sculptural wood from my walk in Paris today. And I had to add two more things from the fair. But soft wood is absolutely a thing.

Lovely installation at Friends with Benefits. Norwegian star Signe Knutson is part of this group that consists of couples and friends. So yes, friends with benefits.

I really want to emphasize the work by Lola Mayeras. The shirt in first picture is a vase. Fun! And also the plate made me think of ”eat the rich”. The lamp and podium is actually ONE PIECE. Amazing. Saw her stool for the bedroom that looks like a stack of shirts at the fair too.
