I have curated another craft exhibition. This time at Stockholms Stadsmuseum for the society Hantverkarna. Here is the story.
Already last year, the society for craft called and asked me to do an exhibition during the event called Stockholm Craft Week. And they asked me again this year.
The society have a lot of members working in the field of caft and I selceted eleven pieces (or twelve people) that I think are interesting. There was no common theme. Just focus on skilled craft. These are some of the best we have in Sweden. Ceramist Calle Forsberg and glass maker Gunilla Kihlgren are established as some of the best. It was nice to include some talents that were new to me. Like tanner Lotta Rahme and glass window maker Kaisa Tukonen.
The exhibition is open almost two weeks. Closing on Thursday October 12.
The “before picture”. This is the space I got to use for the exhibition.
Me and handyman Jesper worked all day for the set up.
Done. Graphic designer Danny Siverman that made signs, catalogue and took a lot of the pictures below.
The six pictures above were made by Julia Viklund.
And here are the selected crafts talents. In alphabetical order.

Kaisa Tukonen
Last. Kaisa is a new name for me. She has been super supportive and nice in this project. She is doing glass windows and every now and then get to do a more arty piece. Imagine having this on your house or on your door. Beautiful.
